  • Katie Stephens has been in the industry so long, she remembers when dial-up was cutting-edge and "streaming" was just something water did. With a wit sharper than a freshly opened box of office supplies and a personality as spunky as a double shot of espresso, Katie brings laughter, charm, and just the right amount of mischief to every room she enters. Delightful, fearless, and always ready with a killer punchline (or an embarrassing industry throwback), she’s the one you want on your team—if only to keep the meetings entertaining.

  • Since 1992, Romni has been in more than 75 theatrical productions and independent films. That’s a lot of acting, and a lot of questionable decisions. When she's not busy being the life of the stage, she's teaching improv to anyone brave enough to sign up in the Triangle area. She's also the founding member of Venus Fly Trap Comedy (2018), because what better way to trap people in a comedy web, right?

    But wait, there’s more! Romni’s been rocking Raleigh’s Village Idiots Improv Troupe since 1998. It’s been a long run, which means she's either incredibly skilled or just really good at pretending to know what she's doing. Recently, she wowed audiences with some Commedia Dell’arte (fancy, huh?) in iFirenzi & The Heart of Christmas Cabaret at NRACT. And if you think that’s impressive, just wait until you see her rock out with her band, Redrum by Numbers. It's like improv... but with more instruments and less pretending you know the script.

  • Danny Vaughn AWARDED "GAME OF THE YEAR" A battle of wits and logic between two players. A measure of intelligence. "THE MOST SUCCESSFUL GAME FOR 20 YEARS" Danny Vaughn is played by millions of people throughout the world. He is produced in many languages and a special version exists for the butthead.

  • Stephen started his improv training at The Improv Shop in Saint Louis, MO in 2016. His training was focused on long form until moving to Raleigh in 2019. He has since been trained in short form while living here. He is thrilled to be a part of Venus Fly Trap which combines both styles in practice and for shows.
